Many of our physical medicine practitioners have had dramatic results with the Lumix 2. Here is what a few of them have to say:

My name is Vicki Egleston and I am a patient of Dr. Zielke. For the past four years I have suffered with what has been diagnosed as “tennis elbow”. The pain was intense, and I knew that every time I would play a round of golf, I knew I would be awakened during the night with the pain on my elbow, regardless of the medication I had taken that was ordered to relieve the pain.

I was introduced to the Lumix 2 treatments soon after. Except for a slight tingling feeling in the elbow and arm, the first two treatments appeared otherwise uneventful. After the third treatment, I no longer have any pain in my elbow. I can play two rounds of golf on a Saturday afternoon and sleep like a baby through the night without any pain. I know it seems almost too good to be true, but the proof is in the result.

I would like to express my highest appreciation for the Lumix lasers from USA Laser. Before purchasing my first Lumix laser I spent a lot of time reviewing and evaluating other lasers. The Lumix lasers are unmatched for clinical effectiveness, reliability and simplicity of use. Presently I use the Lumix 2 and Lumix 250 and I am very satisfied with both models.
Once I started using the lasers, the word spread out in the community immediately that there is new treatment for pain, alternative to “shots” and medications. After having laser treatments, grateful patients started to refer their families and friends and my practice grew quickly. Eventually, other doctors noticed good outcomes of laser treatments and my referrals increased.
Also the profile of my practice has dramatically changed. It grew from standard “shots” and medications based practice to laser based. It expanded to different markets which traditionally “pain specialist” would have only limited access to. I have now patients with chronic wounds, neuropathies, arthritis, and skin lesions and patients looking for cosmetic applications of laser. This had a tremendous effect on patients’ demographics in my practice and consequently changes in average Medicare Insurance with shift to private Insurance.
Increased patients satisfaction had great effect on patients trust and compliance with other treatments offered to them. They have also been willing to pay cash for laser therapy if their Insurances wouldn’t cover.
My laser therapy and pain management center has been also getting a lot of attention from the medical community and I have already had few invitations by local hospitals including the University Rehabilitation Center to speak about laser therapy.
I want be able to include in this letter some testimonials from my patients. I am attaching one very typical case from my practice:

My name is Vicki Synder. I am a 33 year old who suffers from a work related injury in 1994, which led to multiple shoulder surgeries and nerve damage. I was then diagnosed with RSD of my right arm and shoulder. Since that time I have doctored with several types of specialists and tried procedure after procedure, none of which had a lasting effect on either the pain or the numbness I have endured for close to ten years. My hand had some feeling to it, but not a lot and it was always cold; my fingertips have been completely numb for about eight years or more.

Recently I started treatments with Dr. Andrzej Zielke who suggested LLLT (low level laser treatment) with the Lumix 2 instrument. I figured, “why not- it can’t hurt”, but to be honest I really didn’t think a laser pointed at my shoulder for any length of time was going to be able to do anything.

With my first treatment I could feel a warm tingling sensation at my fingertips and something felt strange in my arm. After my third treatment my hand had a “pins and needles” feeling especially in my thumb and index finger. I have now had five treatments (two treatments a week) and I actually have feeling in my fingertips! My hand in general has a lot more feeling and it is not feeling “cold” as it always did in the past.

I actually burned my hand making dinner and it HURT. Before I would have felt nothing until it blistered. I am amazed at the progress I have seen already and always wonder what is going to happen next.

Few months later Vicki Synder has experienced complete neurologic and functional recovery of the extremity. She continues to have very limited amount of pain from RSD which is easily controlled with moderate amount of medications. Other symptoms of RSD have subsided.
