Nelson Marquina, MSc, PhD, DC
President
As president of USA Laser Biotech Inc., Dr. Nelson Marquina is a specialist in photonic and bioelectromagnetic systems and treatment protocols.
He has earned doctoral degrees in systems engineering from the University of Houston (1979) and in chiropractic medicine from Logan University (1998). Dr. Marquina is a former Senior Scientist at NASA/Johnson Space Center and former Director of Research at Logan University.
Dr. Marquina conducts seminars and research presentations in laser phototherapy and photobiology in Asia and North America. He has served on the faculties of the University of Houston (Systems Engineering), the University of Rhode Island (Electrical Engineering), the University of Minnesota (Electrical Engineering), and Virginia State University (Biophysics). He also held R&D and management positions with GE, Honeywell and Lockheed Electronics.
Anton R. Cherry, BSc, MMSc, DC, PA-C
Vice President
As Vice president responsible for the Medical Division, Dr. Anton Cherry is responsible for the management and development of new products and overseeing clinical trials. His duties also include the preparation, submission and defense of 510(k) and PMA applications to the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Dr. Cherry has received his Masters in Medical Science from the Yale University School of Medicine and his Doctor of Chiropractic from Logan University. He earned a fellowship at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and has written for publications such as the Journal of Manipulative and Physiologic Therapeutics. Dr. Cherry is a former clinical consultant on high-yield therapeutics to the NFL’s Washington Redskins, and Baseball’s Chicago White Sox. He was also responsible for implementation and integration of rehabilitation protocols in multiple clinical sites throughout North America.
